Cancer doesn’t care, but we do!  And, we know you do too. Will you help us reach our goal?

For cancer, a cure is possible.

For the toll that cancer takes on a person – on their mind, body and spirit - there is no cure.

  • There is way to surgically remove fear and worry.

  • There is no pill to help a cancer survivor gain back her strength or his physical vitality after treatment.

  • There is no medical protocol for navigating the complexities of life after cancer or managing life with long-term treatment.

Where can a cancer survivor go to find the caring, the understanding and ongoing support they need?

North of Boston Cancer Resource is here to care for the whole person until they feel whole again!

Our Giving Tuesday goal is for 100 people to give $100 or more!

We understand that for someone living with or recovering from cancer, the complementary therapies that are not offered as a part of medical treatment are not a luxury and rarely covered by insurance.

We welcome people in all phases of the cancer journey to join our community and participate in the services that, research has shown, help manage pain, reduce depression and anxiety, and regain strength and energy.

Your gift gives people living with cancer in our community FREE and direct access to oncology massage, acupuncture, exercise (personal training), yoga therapy, reiki, guided imagery, lymphatic drainage, nutrition counseling and health coaching with our team of highly qualified and caring practitioners as well as an option for nutritious meals.

Our clients will tell you that these services have been essential for coping with their illness and treatment and supporting the healing necessary for a return to wholeness and the life and activities they love.

As breast cancer survivor Terri Olvera says:

When I discovered North of Boston Cancer Resource, I was met with warm support, understanding and care, and it truly has allowed me to forge this difficult path with strength and determination. I believe I have regained good physical, emotional, and spiritual health because of the services I received through NBCR.”

What your gift means:

$100 = a young mom in treatment for breast cancer receives an oncology massage to ease her anxiety and help her relax

$200 = a beloved grandfather with pain after lung surgery gets relief through consecutive acupuncture sessions

$500 = an avid runner suffering from lymphedema gets back on the road with regular treatments for this painful and potentially disabling side-effect of cancer treatment.

Any donation will make a difference and is so appreciated!

Choose a one-time amount or monthly donation.

Thank you for your support!
